Yoga Fitness with Dawn
Yoga For Beginner’s at 9.30am every Tuesday is suitable for all abilities, whether you've practiced yoga before or not. Dawn will introduce you to the fundamental Yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation, offering support and guidance along the way to ensure that you feel comfortable and to help you build confidence as you progress. Physically, Yoga improves flexibility, muscle tone, strength, balance and joint health. Mentally, Yoga can help reduce stress and anxiety.
Chair Yoga Fitness at 9.30am every Wednesday is a very effective way to keep fit if you have any kind of physical limitation that makes it difficult to get up and down from the floor during regular Yoga/Pilates/Fitness classes, if you are rehabilitating after an injury, illness or surgery, or if you are a senior. It's also a very effective workout even if you don't find a regular exercise class difficult. While you sit, or use a chair for support, Dawn will guide you through a series of low-intensity movements and stretches inspired by her years teaching Yoga and Pilates to target the whole body. And she uses breathing, meditation, and relaxation exercises to help relieve mental stress and tension, to leave you calmed and soothed.
Both classes are open to everyone, regardless of age, ability or limitations and no previous experience is required.
